TikTok has added a new AI video model called Dreamina Seedance 2.0 to its Symphony creative suite, according to the company’s announcement. The update focuses on automating how video ads are created, moving beyond scripts and ideas into full video production.
The company says the model can generate video content from prompts, combining visual creation and editing in one system. This means advertisers can move from a written idea to a finished video without leaving TikTok’s tools. This builds on TikTok’s earlier Symphony tools, which focused more on generating scripts and creative concepts.
Dreamina Seedance 2.0 is available globally to all paid TikTok advertisers and can be accessed inside TikTok's Symphony Creative Studio.

How Dreamina Seedance 2.0 works
TikTok says Dreamina Seedance 2.0 is designed as a single model that handles both asset creation and video assembly. Users input prompts that describe the concept, and the system generates visuals and arranges them into a video format.
This includes creating scenes, applying motion, and structuring clips into short form videos. The output is built to match the style and pacing commonly used on TikTok.
This shifts part of the creative process into prompt-based generation. Instead of sourcing visuals manually, users describe what they want, and the system produces assets that align with that input.

The company claims this can be used for product visuals, background scenes, or stylized creative elements. These outputs can then feed directly into video production workflows inside TikTok.
Output and Input Specs
Generated clips run up to 15 seconds at up to 2K resolution. Per project, advertisers can supply 9 reference images, 3 reference videos totalling 15 seconds, and 3 reference audio files. The inputs expand on Symphony's prior video workflow, which relied primarily on text and avatar inputs and produced video with audio added in a separate step.
AI labels, invisible watermarking, and C2PA Content Credentials are applied to every output by default. Moderation runs on prompts, uploaded reference assets, and generated outputs inside TikTok Ads Manager.
TikTok’s ongoing push into AI ad creation
This launch follows TikTok’s earlier updates to Symphony, where the focus was on scriptwriting and idea generation using AI. With Dreamina and Seedance, the company is extending that workflow into visuals and editing.
But the tool sits in a group of AI video creative tools that have been added inside the major ad platforms over the past year. Google rolled out Veo-powered Reimagine inside YouTube Shorts. However, Symphony's distinction is that the generator, including Dreamina Seedance 2.0, runs inside the same TikTok Ads Manager surface advertisers use to brief targeting, set bids, and review delivery.
