Get Smarter at Marketing
Google has rolled out AI Mode to more than 180 new countries and regions. The expansion follows earlier launches in the U.S., India, and the U.K. Google AI Mode allows users to ask complex questions and get conversational responses. The feature is currently limited to English, but the company plans to add more regions and languages in the future.
Google brings restaurant booking to AI Mode
The company has also started rolling out restaurant reservation support in AI Mode. Users can ask for dinner reservations based on preferences such as party size, date, time, location, and cuisine, and AI Mode will provide options based on their queries. Google says this will soon extend to local service bookings and event ticket purchases.
Personalization in the U.S.
In the U.S., people who opted into AI Mode through Google Labs are beginning to see results tailored to their personal preferences. The company explains that this personalization currently focuses on dining-related topics, such as restaurant and café recommendations.
Sharing AI Mode results
Google has also added a new sharing feature for AI Mode in the U.S. Users can now tap a “Share” button to send AI-powered responses to friends and family. Recipients can continue the conversation by asking follow-up questions or exploring linked web sources.
