TikTok launches Foundry for venture-backed brands
The program gives investor portfolios direct access to TikTok’s ad experts

Get Smarter at Marketing
TikTok has launched a new program called TikTok Foundry. The company says it is designed for venture capital and private equity firms that want their portfolio brands to build a stronger presence on the platform. The update places investors at the center of TikTok’s growth efforts and reflects the company’s push to bring more advertisers into its ad system.
TikTok describes Foundry as a full-service accelerator that gives portfolio companies a head start on the platform. Instead of leaving each brand to figure out TikTok ads on its own, investors can now run a coordinated approach with TikTok’s internal ad experts guiding their companies.
TikTok says investors will receive incentives and direct support
According to the company, one part of the appeal is performance-based incentives. TikTok says participating firms can receive up to $15,000 in matched media to help new campaigns gain early momentum. The company also says that Foundry gives investors access to one-to-one consultations from TikTok’s ad experts and dedicated onboarding. TikTok plans to create custom playbooks for participating firms.
Portfolio brands will get early access to new ad tools
TikTok says that Foundry participants will also gain access to beta tools and product updates before they are released publicly. The program also includes training sessions, webinars, partner hubs, and creative toolkits. TikTok also highlights “exclusive exposure and community,” such as event invitations and co-marketing opportunities.
How firms can join the program
According to TikTok, firms can apply by clicking the Apply Now button and completing a short form. Once an application is reviewed, a TikTok representative will confirm acceptance within fourteen days. Approved firms will receive an Acceleration Kit that includes co-branded resource links, performance playbooks, and onboarding materials.
The platform says it will work with investors to introduce the program to their portfolio companies. After onboarding, brands can begin running campaigns with support from TikTok’s experts, who will help track results and unlock performance-based ad credits based on activity.
