Lovable and Shopify partner to launch AI store builder
The deal aims to speed up the process of creating e-commerce stores using AI setups

Get Smarter at Marketing
Lovable and Shopify have partnered to enable brands to build customized online stores using AI prompts. The new Lovable Shopify integration allows users to describe the kind of store they want, and Lovable’s AI handles the setup. The idea is to enable merchants to launch and manage digital storefronts using conversational prompts.
According to the announcement, the AI system generates the full Shopify store layout, including the homepage, product pages, shopping cart, checkout flow, and navigation structure. It also sets up payment and tax integrations, as well as post-purchase experiences. Once the AI creates the store, users can “claim” it on Shopify, link their account, and go live.
How brands can create online Shopify stores using AI prompts
Lovable says the process starts with users describing the store they want to create. The AI builder then handles the setup automatically. This includes creating functional shopping carts, checkout systems, and core e-commerce flows.
After the store structure is ready, brands can add their product details. They can upload product images, specify what they are selling, and let Lovable’s AI generate product descriptions for each item. Once everything is in place, merchants can review the content, make any necessary edits, and hit publish to go live on Shopify.
A no-code approach to e-commerce design
Lovable claims the integration eliminates the need for developers or theme specialists. “Lovable handles all the heavy lifting while Shopify ensures a robust and scalable backend,” the company said in the announcement.
Why this matters for merchants and brands
Lovable’s new Shopify integration brings AI-driven store creation to e-commerce brands that want to build or experiment with new storefronts. The tool is available to both small and large businesses. This means it could appeal to startups looking to test new product lines or established brands expanding into niche categories.
This partnership reflects a growing trend of using AI to enhance e-commerce setup and design. Shopify has previously rolled out tools like Shopify Magic to help merchants automate tasks such as writing product descriptions and email content. The new integration with Lovable expands that automation to full-store creation.
