Highlights

Google has introduced ‘Realtime pages report’ in Google Analytics 4 (GA4). Google says the report offers insights into a website’s real-time performance.

In a tweet, Google Analytics said users can use the data from the report to find out which content is the most popular, evaluate their marketing campaigns, and quickly fix any website issues.

What’s in the report?

The report includes two summary cards at the top of the page:

  • The Key Metrics Card shows the total views and active users of users’ sites or apps in the last 30 minutes.
  • The Bar Graph Card displays the number of active users per minute in real time over the past 30 minutes.

Below the summary cards is a detailed table. It breaks down active users by page path and screen class. This table includes:

  • Page paths and screen classes are listed and sorted by views and active users.
  • Total views for each page or screen in the last 30 minutes.
  • The number of distinct active users per page or screen within the same timeframe.

How users can access the new report

To access the new ‘Realtime pages report,’ users can sign in to Google Analytics. Then, they should select 'Reports' from the left menu and click 'Realtime pages' in the left sidebar.
