TikTok has announced new advertising features for brands to reach their audience. According to the platform, “Today at Advertising Week, TikTok is introducing new advertising solutions to help brands achieve real business results with the launch of new automated Performance Tools, additional Measurement Capabilities, and new Privacy Technologies.”

Tiktok’s Smart+ 

TikTok is introducing a new automated ad solution called ‘Smart+.’ TikTok says the tool will simplify the ad creation and targeting process for brands. 

With Smart+, advertisers can upload their assets, set a budget, and define targeting goals, and the system will automatically create ads, and select the right audience at the right time.

According to TikTok, Smart+ offers four campaign objectives: Smart+ Web Campaigns, Smart+ Catalog Ads, Smart+ App Campaigns, and Smart+ Lead Generation Campaigns. All these formats are aimed at managing how to target people, set bids, and create ads.

TiTok’s GMV Max

TikTok is also launching GMV Max for U.S. and Southeast Asia advertisers. TikTok claimed that the tool will optimize traffic across organic content, paid ads, and affiliate posts. It also claimed that the feature will cut down on campaign setup time and allow advertisers to place shoppable ads in TikTok’s For You feed, search, and Shop tab. 

Privacy-enhancing technologies and conversion lift studies 

TikTok’s new Privacy-enhancing technologies will enable advertisers to use consumer insights without directly sharing audience data with TikTok. 

The Conversion lift will measure the overall effectiveness of TikTok campaigns. TikTok says the feature will provide insights into conversions that happen as a result of ad exposure, not just the last click.
