Amazon Ads has launched two new AI tools for advertisers to create campaigns across different media. Announced at Amazon Ads’ annual “unBoxed” event, these tools are now available in beta for U.S. advertisers. 

This follows the launch of its video generator tool. The feature creates video ads using product images.

Amazon says the tools will help brands of all sizes. They aim to improve connections with Amazon customers using creative, interactive ads. “We’re excited to introduce these new AI-powered creative tools, which have the potential to transform how brands connect with Amazon customers,” Jay Richman, Vice President of Creative Experiences for Amazon Ads, said.

Audio ad generator

Amazon’s audio generator is a generative AI tool for creating 30-second audio ads for free. These ads can be used across Alexa-enabled devices. Amazon said it is designed to complement display, video, and sponsored ad campaigns.

“Brands can now use generative AI to make audio ads—in addition to images and video—through Amazon Ads’ self-service tools.” 

This tool is available in beta and can be accessed via the Amazon DSP.

How to use Amazon's audio generator to create ads

Advertisers can input their Amazon-listed product, and the tool will automatically generate a voiceover script based on the product details. Advertisers can choose the ad's voice, tone, and background music.  

AI creative studio

Amazon also introduced its AI Creative Studio. This feature brings together Amazon’s generative AI tools into one platform. 

“Whether it’s turning a simple product shot into videos or, in the near future, converting a TV commercial into online sponsored ads, AI Creative Studio makes it easy to build and scale campaigns in innovative ways—helping brands reach customers,” Amazon said.

The studio will let advertisers create ads using AI-powered media tools. With this tool, brands can run ads on Amazon's platforms, like Prime Video, Twitch, and Amazon.com.

Advertisers can also upload their own assets to the creative studio. They can adjust them to suit their campaign needs. Amazon said the tool lets users adjust style, lighting, camera angles, colors, and tone.
