Reddit launches new tools for publishers to track and share content
The update ties into Reddit’s plan to become a go-to search and content discovery platform

Get Smarter at Marketing
Reddit is launching new tools for publishers to share content and track performance. The company says the goal is to help media outlets understand how their articles and stories perform across Reddit’s active users.
This update is part of Reddit Pro, the business suite it launched last year. The new features are in beta and available through a waitlist. A wider rollout is planned for 2026, according to the company.
Tracking content performance on Reddit
The update introduces three tools under a new Links tab in Reddit Pro. According to Reddit, publishers can see how their articles are shared across the platform. They can monitor which communities are picking up their stories and track engagement metrics such as views, upvotes, and clicks.
Auto-import and AI-powered recommendations
One tool is the auto-import feature, which lets publishers sync their RSS feeds so stories appear in Reddit Pro automatically. This could make content shareable and reduce manual work. Reddit is also adding AI-powered recommendations that suggest which communities may be the best fit for a story.

Early tests with publishers
Reddit says it has already tested these tools with several publishers, including The Atlantic, The Hill, NBC News, and The Associated Press. The beta is now open to more publishers, and applications are being accepted.
Updated link experience for readers
Reddit is also testing a new way to view articles inside its app. The company is experimenting with a link-viewing experience where users can read an article, then swipe up to see related Reddit comments and join the discussion.

Reddit’s bigger ambitions with search
These updates connect to Reddit’s goal of becoming a search and discovery platform. The company has said that news, articles, and blogs are central to how people use Reddit when searching for information.
